‘Time Out With God’

Prayer is one of the things that we are making a priority as a church and following on from the month of prayer in January and the vision Sunday we are going to be meeting twice a month on a Sunday between 6.00pm and 7.00pm to pray. Our next ‘Time Out With God’ meetings  are July 18th and 25th.

This is what some people said about the recent prayer meetings:

“We had the opportunity to make prayer requests and pray with people in small groups - church at it's best :praying together and inviting God to move among us.”

“For me, the prayer meetings that were held in January were a wonderful opportunity to come together in fellowship and pray for each other & the future of the church as a whole. “Personally I think prayer should be the basis of Church life otherwise it seems to me Church is just a Christian (or religious) club. So I thought it very worthwhile. It was good to see so many Loughton Baptist Church folk committed to seeking God in prayer for the Church. We are, surely, in a spiritual battle and we know that prayer changes things .We don't always get the answers we would like to our prayers, but know that God works His plans and purposes in our lives if we seek Him.”
